Reading Room
READING ROOM, by Jay Sanders and Dan Torop, presents a selection of books and objects in an unobtrusive and comfortable environment. The books, which have been lent by an ever-expanding group of people, are a motley group rarely encountered on any officially required reading list but at the same time well-loved and necessary. The project was inspired by the generosity of book lender Noah Albert and features the Giclee prints of poet Robert Grenier, and wooden books by Todd Knopke. Jay Sanders curates, writes and puts together publishing projects in New York. Dan Torop studied Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard, and received an MFA in photography from Yale. He lives and works in New York and Pennsylvania.
