I was getting really seriously into the landscapes.  And setting up scenes with crosses.  A friend said that if the gallery thing didn't work out, maybe I could get work illustrating religious pamphlets.

The first five photographs were together in a group show in 2000 or so, and seemed to really make sense as a sequence.  I was trying to make the most beautiful prints ever.
